Professor Richard Weller "Landscape Works" Public Lecture

The University of Minnesota Department of Landscape Architecture is pleased to announce that Professor Richard Weller will deliver a free, public lecture, “Landscape Works” on Friday, February 24 at 6pm in 100 Rapson Hall, 89 Church Street SE at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities College of Design.

Richard Weller is the Martin and Margy Meyerson Chair of Urbanism and Professor and Chair of Landscape Architecture at The University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design (PennDesign). He is also Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Australia and former Director of the Australian Urban Design Research Centre (AUDRC) and former Director of the design firm Room 4.1.3. Recent scholarship has included “OMG! There’s an Anthropocene in my Backyard” and “Stewardship Now? Reflections on Landscape Architecture’s Raison D’etre in the 21st Century”.
